Series 2, 2A, 3 with Rover axle
Rear Axle Shaft Set

Over several years time the rear axle shafts can twist back and forth, eventually snapping off. Generally there's no warning before they let go, and it's often in daily driving as opposed to off roading. You can always lock the front hubs and select 4WD high and continue on, but you're still stuck with fishing the busted end out of the diff.

It's always smarter to replace them before this happens. Since it's a full floating axle the job is really quite easy if you catch it before the splines start twisting.

Fall is here, and who wants to be out in the rain or snow replacing axle shafts. Slip in a new set now, and if undamaged hang on to the old ones as spares. Most people don't require special hardened axles if they change the stock ones out periodically. BP makes performing this essential maintance procedure cheap and easy.

LR3 Stainless Brush Bar

Traditional brush bars are great for light off roading. They protect the front of the truck from branches off road, and from errant shopping carts in parking lots. Plus they just look cool.
