CARB approved metal gas cans

Legal in all 50 states! The California Air Resources Board approved 5 gallon fuel can comes with a spring loaded pour spout that will permit you to store it with the spout attached, or replace it with the solid metal cap that comes with it for transporting. The spout is all plastic and screws on to the can.

The cap uses a lever action: push the plastic thumb switch from 'store' to 'pour', insert the nozzle, then push down on the green plastic handle to dispense the fuel. Release the handle to stop fuel flow.

Each can is sold with a spout: they are required by law to be sold together. Cans are not lined inside.

Our 20L carrier (pictured right) works fine with the 5 gallon CARBcan, sold separately. Remove the spout and fit the metal cap as supplied with the can for transport (shown). The carrier has rubber pads inside for a snug fit, and the top can be locked with a padlock if required. The carrier has several pre drilled holes for mounting bolts (not supplied). GJC003

Genuine Steel NATO 20L / 5.25 Gallon Water Cans

The blue 20 liter potable water jerry cans are made with food approved inner lining, while still featuring the durable, leak proof features of NATO standard steel cans.  They come in two styles: one uses the standard NATO lever cap, and any of our spouts listed below will work well with it. We also have replacement seals in stock, and these cans do fit in our 20 liter holders. (NATO can illustrated on right.) We also stock the new wide moth cans for quick pouring, shown on the left. We do not have spouts for this version. Can dimensions: 13 x 6.25 x 18.5". The wide mouth cans are in stock. Shipping roughly $20, and CA sales tax applies. Wide mouth style, GJC20W NATO-spout style, GJC20WW Note: if using cans for bioproducts such as cooking oil, some areas will not permit the use of unlined cans. Spouts for NATO Jerry Cans

Our all metal utility spouts are flexible, and use the same lever locking action as the cap. They also contain a fine filter screen. These are designed for unleaded fuel restrictors, and can be used with all older NATO Jerry Cans. The semi flex spout is another good option. The plastic tip is more flexible than the metal one and can be used in a variety or restricted openings, perfect for adding emergency oil to differentials, or trans/steering fluid. It also has an internal vent for faster flow. Both are legal in most states if your local environmental laws permit, but cannot be used in California or Pennsylvania for motor fuel use . They can be used for emergency fluids such as oil, coolant or ATF. These spouts do not fit the wide mouth water cans: as of now there are no spouts for the wide mouth water cans.

20 & 10 Liter Jerry Can Carriers:

Lockable steel frame securely holds the metal 10 or 20 liter Jerry Cans. The hinged top arm is drilled for a padlock, and the frame is predrilled for mounting bolts. Several rubber pads are used to hold the Jerry Can securely in off road use. The thick gloss black finish is ready for years of severe weather. NATO Jerry Cans can be mounted horizontally: they will not leak. Remember to allow for the full length of the can above the holder. (Green 10L can shown is not available for sale.)

STA-BIL Fuel Additive

Gas stabilizer for all vehicles and jerry can storage

Modern gasoline has a very short shelf life. If you're storing gasoline for more than a month or two, you'll need to add Sta-Bil to make sure it's still usable when you need it. Sta-Bil is concentrated, and comes with a self measuring container. One bottle treats 20 gallons! Make sure the fuel stored in your jerrycan (or in your vehicle it if has to sit for any period of time) will be fresh and ready to run for up to a year.
